NKU DEFEATS LEWIS, 78-67

Marston scores 18 to lead NKU

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Senior forward Scott Marston scored 18 points Saturday afternoon as the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team defeated Lewis University, 78-67, in Regents Hall.

Marston made a trio of three-point shots as the Norse improved to 19-3 overall, 11-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU is ranked No. 8 nationally in the Division II Bulletin poll.

Lewis entered the game ranked No. 25 nationally, but the Flyers (14-5, 8-5 GLVC) have now lost three consecutive games. Lewis was led by Harley Piercy’s 17 points.
