NKU DEFEATS SAINT JOSEPH’S, 85-71

Norse improve to 22-4 with victory

 

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Junior guard Craig Conley scored 20 points Thursday night as the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team defeated Saint Joseph’s College, 85-71, in Regents Hall.

The Norse improved to 22-4 overall, 14-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU, which is ranked No. 22 nationally in the Division II Bulletin poll, is now 13-0 at home this season.

Senior forward Scott Marston added 13 points for NKU, which has beaten Saint Joseph’s 12 consecutive times. NKU has not lost to the Pumas since the 1993-94 season.

NKU will conclude its 1999-2000 home schedule Saturday night at 7:45 p.m. when Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne visits Regents Hall.
