NKU WINS GOLF INVITATIONAL
Norse place five golfers in top 10 to capture tournament
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Five Northern Kentucky University golfers placed in the top 10 individuals as the Norse captured the Heritage Bank/Bowlin Construction Invitational at the A.J. Jolly Golf Course.
Scott Stark was NKUs top finisher with a 1-over-par 72, which was good for fifth place in the individual standings. Steve Landrum finished seventh with a 73, and teammates Josh Jarvi, Drew Von Lehman and Rob Mitchell all shot 74 to tie for 10th place.
NKU won a playoff with Kentucky State to take the team championship in the tournament, which was shortened to 18 holes due to rain.
