NKU GOLF TEAM QUALIFIES FOR NCAA REGIONALS

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team received a berth in the NCAA Division II North Regional Tournament on Friday, marking the first time the Norse have advanced to the NCAA Tournament since 1996.

NKU will participate in the NCAA II North Regional Tournament May 1-3 at Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. The Norse made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 1995 and 1996, and NKU posted an 11th-place finish at the 1995 nationals.

NKU also finished 12th nationally in the 1996 NCAA Tournament.
