Norse junior forward named GLVC Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Michelle Cottrell has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball. Cottrell, a junior forward, averaged 19.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game last week as NKU won a pair of GLVC road games. She also made 15 of 23 (65.2 percent) shots from the field and moved into sixth place on the NKU all-time scoring list with 1,429 career points.
