NKU senior middle hitter named GLVC Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University volleyball player Jessica Buroker has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week. Buroker, a native of Bluffton, Ohio, had 25 kills, 24 digs and a .525 hitting percentage as the Norse won twice last week. Buroker had eight kills and 17 digs in a 3-0 win over Charleston (W. Va.), and she came back with 17 kills and a .696 hitting percentage during a 3-0 victory over Edinboro (Pa.). The win against Edinboro extended the Norse’s home winning streak to 45 consecutive matches.
