BROEG EARNS ACADEMIC HONOR

Norse senior named to District IV All-Academic Team

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University women’s soccer player Eva Broeg has been selected to the 2001 District IV All-Academic Team. Broeg, who helped NKU win four consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championships, was named to the District IV second team. A biology major with a 3.73 grade point average, Broeg also earned All-GLVC honors as a senior while leading the Norse to a 22-2 record. A graduate of Dixie Heights High School, Broeg was one of the top defenders in the GLVC during her career. As a senior, Broeg’s performance helped NKU advance to the NCAA Division II Final Four for the third consecutive year.
