Norse senior named GLVC Player of the Week

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Jason Martin has been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in baseball. Martin, a senior catcher and a graduate of Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, collected three hits and six runs batted in last week during a 19-15, 10-inning loss to Miami (Ohio) University. Martin also had two home runs and two walks in that game. He also had two hits in the Norse’s 18-3 win over Kentucky State on March 6. In that win, he hit another home run and had four RBI.
