TAMPA, Fla. - Chelsea Pavlik and Liz Franz combined for 31 kills as Regis (Colo.) knocked off Northern Kentucky University, 30-27, 30-28, 30-28, Friday afternoon.

Pavlik notched 16 kills and hit .297, while Franz recorded 15 kills and attacked at a .520 clip. Regis hit .311 as a team and improved to 1-1.

Liz Holmes led NKU (0-2) with 12 kills and a .450 hitting percentage. Andrea Price finished with her first career double-double (11 kills, 11 digs) and hit .409.

Kristina Eisenmenger added 10 kills for the Norse. Senior setter Andrea Lanham collected 35 assists and served three aces for NKU, which will face No. 2 Tampa tonight at 8 p.m.

On Thursday night, Tampa defeated Regis in four games.

On Saturday, NKU will meet No. 15 Lock Haven (Pa.) and St. Edward's (Texas) to conclude the road trip.
