MISSION, Kan. – The Northern Kentucky University women’s
soccer team made its debut in the NCAA Division II national poll
at No. 16, as selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association

NKU picked
up two goals from Jayme Light and one from Kendall Day as it defeated
Findlay to improve its record to 3-0 on the season. Light’s
five-point performance Friday gave her a share of the team lead
in goals (3) and points (7) with Lauren Franzen.
NKU will defend
its ranking Friday as it opens GLVC play against Lewis at Town & Country
Sports Complex in Wilder. The Norse will face Wisconsin-Parkside
