HIGHLAND HEIGHTS,
Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team kept
themselves in the hunt for postseason play on Friday with a 9-0
victory over Lewis in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
The Norse matched
up favorably against an undermanned Flyer squad that dropped
two matches by default. Reed Sparks was the only one who even
came close to a set loss, defeating Doug Fritz, 6-4, 6-4, in
the No. 2 singles.
Northern Kentucky
(6-12, 3-6 GLVC) must defeat Saint Joseph's on Saturday to secure
a spot in the GLVC Tournament next weekend.
