INDIANAPOLIS
- The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team fell to
Indianapolis, 5-4, in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Tuesday.
The
Norse took the No. 3 doubles and the bottom three singles flights.
Michael Volkov fell just short in the No. 3 singles, losing to
UI's Mark dos Prazeres-Silva, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.
Northern Kentucky
(5-12, 2-6 GLVC) is still in the hunt for a spot in the GLVC
Tournament, and will wrap up the regular season
this
season against the 11th and 10th place teams, respectively,
Lewis and Saint Joseph's.
