EVANSVILLE,
Ind. – The
Northern Kentucky University women’s tennis
team took its seventh-straight win on Saturday with a dominating
8-1 victory over Southern Indiana in Great Lakes Valley Conference
play.
NKU's only
shortfall came in the No. 1 doubles flight, as Stephanie Isaacs
and Kristen Sunday fell in a tiebreaker to Reilly Ackerman and
Katie Jo Clagg.
Freshman Ivana
Misic picked up her first singles victory of the season, defeating
USI's Sam Himes, 6-1, 6-0, in the No. 6 singles flight.
Northern Kentucky
(7-1, 3-0 GLVC) returns home Sunday for non-conference action
against Tiffin.
