INDIANAPOLIS – The
Northern Kentucky University men’s tennis team opened the
2008 season with a 9-0 loss to region foe Grand Valley State
on Saturday morning.
Felipe Rossetti
and Fritz Dlabik put up a fight for the Norse (0-1) in the No.
1 doubles flight, falling
9-7 to Tony Dang and Patryk
Polus, while Jason Kramer came close to victory on the singles
side, falling 6-4, 7-5, to Phillip Claus in the No. 4 flight.
The
Norse return to action Feb. 26 against Dayton.
