By Mike Anderson, NKU Sports Information HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University men's golfers Danny Lewis and Andrew Jewell were named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team, the conference office announced this week. The golfers were named to the team for their performances throughout the season and joined Carl Hays, who earned All-GLVC honors for his performance at the GLVC Championship. Lewis's 74.68 strokes per round were good enough to rank him 16th regionally, while his second-round 67 at the NKU Spring Invitational was the lowest round carded by an NKU golfer this season. Jewell's 74.53 scoring average ranked him 13th in the Great Lakes Region. The NKU men's golf team opens NCAA Great Lakes Regional play on Monday. Live scoring is available via nkunorse.com. |
