Mo. - Northern Kentucky University captured the Rivermen Invitational
title Tuesday with a two-day score of 565 at the WingHaven Country
Club.
NKU, which fired
a school-record 10-under-par 278 during Monday’s opening round,
shot 287 Tuesday to win the title by 17 strokes over runner-up Bellarmine.
The Norse’s David Shearer shot a 1-under-par 71 during the
final round to capture second-place honors with a total of 140.
Kyle Leach of
Bellarmine won the medal with a score of 137.
NKU golfers
Andrew Jewell and Clint Kohls tied for third place with scores of
141.
