NEW YORK - The Northern Kentucky University men's golf program is among the nation's best for the second straight week. The Golf World Division II Coaches' Poll ranked the Norse No. 22, up two spots from last week.

NKU continues to excel this spring, taking first place in the University of Cincinnati Invitational earlier this week against a largely Division I field. Andrew Jewell's third-place finish helped lead the Norse to victory. Earlier this season, the Norse placed second at Eagle Creek in Crittendon, Ky., and picked up a win at the Rivermen Invitational in O'Fallon, Mo., in the fall.

NKU is the only Great Lakes Region team to crack the Top 25. West Florida sits atop the coaches' poll, followed by Florida Southern. Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Indianapolis is among others receiving votes in the poll.

NKU returns to action this weekend at Columbus, Ind., as the Norse compete in the GLVC Championships.
