ALLENDALE, Mich. -
The Northern Kentucky University women’s golf team is in fifth
place at the Laker Fall Classic after finishing Monday’s first
round with a score of 331 at the Meadows Golf Course.
Alicia Lawrence shot
a 6-over-par 78 to lead NKU and is tied for seventh place in the
individual standings. Norse golfer Katie Lammrish finished at 83
on Monday and is tied for 23rd place, while teammates Bianca Hutton
and Lindsey Oldiges each shot 85 and are tied for 30th place.
Ferris State leads the
team standings after the first day with a score of 310. Casey McKinnon
of Ferris State and Kristi Piepenbrink of Indianapolis each shot
74 Monday and are tied for the individual lead.
The final round will
be played Tuesday.
