FINDLAY, Ohio - The NKU women’s golf team is in sixth place after the first 36 holes of the NCAA Division II East Regional.

Bianca Hutton led NKU with a 162, which was good for a 10th-place tie individually. The Norse totaled 687 at the par-72 Findlay Country Club.

Grand Valley State is in first place after the first day with a total of 633.

The final round will be played Tuesday. The top two teams, along with the top two individuals not with a team from each regional, will advance to the national championships.

The NCAA Division II national championships will be held May 10-13 at The Meadows in Allendale, Mich., and will be hosted by Grand Valley State.
