HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University’s Keith Knapp has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Runner of the Week in men’s cross country.

Knapp, a sophomore and a graduate of Lloyd High School, was NKU’s top finisher at the Great American Cross Country Festival last week at Cary, N.C. Knapp completed the eight-kilometer course in 26:10 and posted a 39th-place finish to lead the Norse.

NKU posted a 10th-place overall finish in the men’s seeded university race, which featured NCAA Division I, II and III competition. The Norse were third among Division II finishers in that event.

NKU will compete in the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in Chicago, Ill., this Saturday.
