KEYER-SCOTT LEADS NKU TO BELLARMINE TITLE

NKU golfer wins medal by shooting 6-over-par 78

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kim Keyer-Scott fired a 6-over-par 78 Tuesday to lead the Northern Kentucky University women’s golf team to first-place honors at the Bellarmine Invitational.

Keyer-Scott captured the medal at the par-72 Persimmon Ridge Golf Course as NKU finished with a team score of 328, 14 strokes better than runner-up Southern Indiana (342). Keyer-Scott, a senior and a three-time All-American, edged Indianapolis’ Andrea Davis (79) by one stroke for the medal.

NKU’s Alicia Lawrence shot an 81 and tied for third place, while Bianca Hutton finished in 11th place with an 84. Kelsey Gauthier took 13th place with an 85.

NKU is ranked No. 9 nationally in the Division II poll.
