Norse Athletics Club
Methods of Giving

•Annual Donations•

This is the simplest way to join the Norse Athletics Club. Your annual contribution will be used to support scholarship aid for nearly 200 student-athletes at Northern Kentucky University. Your contribution can be made in the form of cash, check made payable to the Norse Athletics Club, or by credit card - MasterCard or Visa.

•Corporate Matching Gifts•

Many companies match gifts to scholarship aid through the Norse Athletics Club. With your company’s matching gift, you may increase your gift to the Norse Athletics Club. Please consult your employer’s benefits office for more information. To be eligible, your company must match intercollegiate athletic scholarship funds.

•Gifts-In-Kind•

In lieu of monetary donations, the Norse Athletics Club can accept certain gifts and services. These types of contributions allow the Norse Athletics Club to offset expenses that are currently incurred. The donor receives credit for the donation. Gifts-in-kind must be approved by the Athletic Director and Norse Athletics Club Executive Board.

•Scholarship Endowment•

You can ensure your legacy through an athletic scholarship endowment. The interest from your major gift will be utilized to provide a scholarship for a student-athlete from the inception on into the future. Please contact the Norse Athletics Club for more information on how to set up a scholarship endowment.

•Gifts of Securities•

A gift of security is a good way to make a contribution to the Norse Athletics Club. The donor may claim a charitable income tax deduction based on fair market value of the donated securities on the date the gift is made.

•Memorial Gifts•

Remember the loss of a friend or a loved one with a memorial gift to the Norse Athletics Club. Your gift will be placed in the Norse Athletics Club Endowment. It will also be announced to the family of the deceased.

•Tax Statement•

Your contribution to the Norse Athletics Club is 100 percent tax deductible less benefits received. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
