Nationally Recognized Programs and Graduates
More than 91 percent of our seniors indicate they would recommend NKU to a prospective student. With our nationally recognized academic programs, our hands-on research and our cultural awareness, learning at NKU is much more than just what occurs in the classroom. NKU is one of a few select universities around the nation recognized for its community engagement. Students and faculty treat the metropolitan region as an extension of the campus and engage in applied research, philanthropy and community service. - NKU science students perform research not only on campus, but also in field locations all around the world.
- Informatics majors gain hands-on experience in internship programs at more than 50 companies. They excel in a variety of high-demand, high-skilled careers after graduation.
- NKU’s business college is internationally accredited - fewer than 25 percent of the nation’s business colleges meet NKU’s academic standards.
- NKU graduates have one of the highest pass rates in Kentucky on the Praxis Teachers’ Exams and the special education program has received national recognition.
- Nursing, radiological technology and respiratory care graduates have a 99 percent employment rate, working to evaluate, treat and care for patients.
- Chase Law students continue to score the highest passage rates on the Kentucky Bar exam than any other Kentucky law school.
